Autumn Walk

On a Sunday my family and I went for an Autumn walk through the woods to this lovely restaurant
and I decided to bring my camera with me. We ordered some 'bitterballen' which are a typical Dutch snack.  It was a beautiful sunny day and the air outside was crisp, which created those cozy vibes that are just perfect for Autumn.

Hotspot: 'Make My Day' Concept Store

The other day I was walking down the oldest high street in Nijmegen and came across a shop that I had never seen before. It is called 'Make My Day' and it's a concept store. Which means that it's a retail store that goes beyond simply selling stuff and instead is appealing to a sense of lifestyle. Rather than just offering a selection of standard products for purchase, this type of store sells products that appeal to a particular type of costumer.

Anyway, of course I wanted to take a look inside. So, I did and it was pretty cool!
The interior was right up my street - it was like you walked into a Tumblr world, haha.
The shop does not only sell clothing for male and female. But also lots of quirky little bits and pieces, like vinyls, record players, books, old magazines, post cards and plants. And when I thought it couldn't get any better, that was when I saw that this shop is actually combined with a hair salon.

I'd really recommend taking a look for yourself if you're ever in Nijmegen.
Such a great place to get inspired.

Location: Stikke Hezelstraat 65, Nijmegen - The Netherlands

London & Canterbury Through My Lens (Analog Photos)

If you follow me on my social media you probably know that I've been to Canterbury and London for a few days in April. I was so happy to finally visit England, since it was my first time and I always wanted to go.  I absolutely loved it there and I can't wait to go back one day because I obviously haven't seen everything yet!
I decided to not only use my phone to take photos but also bring my analog camera
with film (my Praktica to be exact). Because I knew that this was going to be a special trip, I just wanted to have physical photos afterwards and add them to a photo album later on.
Although some of my friends laughed at me (in a good way of course) for bringing this old camera with me.

So, enjoy my three day trip through my lens!

We took the ferry in Calais to go to Dover. On the first day I went to Canterbury, second (rainy) day London and the third and last day London again. I visited Harrods, Victoria & Albert museum, Camden, Big Ben, Greenwich, Covent Garden Market, Oxford Street (my friends and I couldn't resist and had to go to the Victoria Secret store), Hyde Park, China Town and Trafalgar Square.

Of course, the famous red busses.
